Question by aubsaunders: Growing pomegranate trees in Northern Utah?
I love pomegranates and I want to start a small garden. I live in Northern Utah, though, where temperatures in the winter can get down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Is it possible for pomegranate trees to survive the winters here? I would have it in a place where it would not be touched by much snow.

Also, would I have to buy special dirt? Or could I use my backyard dirt?

Any other tips about growing would be helpful. Thanks!
